Between 29th February 2016 (when Tropical Data started) and February 2026 we have supported surveys in over 4,100 Evaluation Units (EUs), examining over 13.3 million people in 55 countries.
On average, with our support, 1 person is examined every 26 seconds for trachoma around the world. This was celebrated by some of our trainers here.
Since 2016 we have trained and certified over 1200 teams to conduct surveys for trachoma. We have also supported capacity strengthening, training over 200 trainers across the globe to support training workshops.
